Who will win La Liga in the 2020-21 campaign

La Liga is going down to the wire. It has been one of the most sensational campaigns you have ever witnessed. A total of four clubs are in the mix to engrave their name on the league title. The known three I.e Atletico, Real and Barca and now outside challengers, Sevilla have a clear shot at the title.

Barcelona slump to a 2-1 loss to Granada at Camp Nou despite leading the game. Their opposition beat them on their turf after 28 years. That defeat caused further calculation problems to determine this season's La Liga winners.  We look at the probability of each side winning the league. Note that, some are yet to play each other in the coming weeks.

Sevilla (70 points)

The side from Seville are dreaming big. At no point in time, anyone expected Sevilla to join the usual three in the title race. After a series of good performances on the road, Sevilla allowed themselves to stay unbeaten for the last two months. The journey ahead is not that easy in their quest for the unthinkable. The Andalusians haven't won a league title since 1946. But now with a mastermind in Julien Lopetuigi, they are hopeful. The manager already provided them with a Europa League title last time out. Ambitions are surely higher this term.  This weekend they face Athletic Club before traveling to the Spanish capital to face Real Madrid. If they manage to beat them, they will gain momentum ahead of Valencia and Villarreal and hope for a slip up from the other three. They expect to gain as more points ahead of facing relegation-threatened Alaves on the final day of the season.

FC Barcelona (71 points)

The situation perfectly swung towards Barcelona after the top two dropped important points. But Barcelona managed to spun it. They had a crucial game in hand which they wasted by losing against Granada on Friday. Barca boys faces Valencia next on Monday before playing a potential title deciding game against Atletico Madrid. The Catalan giants weren't in their best shape early in the campaign but they manage to overcome it strongly. However, they are feeling the heat of one of the most nail biting title races in Spanish top flight history. Although Barcelona have three easy fixtures in Levante, Celta and Eibar to end their season, nothing is certain at the moment. Eyes will be locked on Messi if he crown his possibly last season at the club with a league title or not. If they manage to finish as champions, it will be a gigantic achievement for the side.

Real Madrid (72 points)

Zinedine Zidane's men looked to be prime favorites to defend their crown but injuries and fatigue are now playing their part. The Frenchman did an immense job in guiding his side to this position after an unreal injury ravaged season. The number of injuries the squad faced was never experienced by any team before. Still, Zidane got the best out of his players. Inspire a low start to the campaign, Real look to reclaim their trophy and was on the course to do so. Recent couple of indecent result with European commitment combined with the mentioned factors is drifting them away from the title defense. Real have no big test other than Sevilla and Villareal on the last leg if we keep the second leg Champions League semifinal tie with Chelsea aside.  Even though they have to put in a lot with injuries curtailing changes to the starting eleven. A huge task to unfold.

Atletico Madrid (73 points)

Diego Simeone's side look like a run away leader of the silverware in the early parts of the 2020/21 campaign. Then they got disoriented with piling pressure and lost concentration in the vital stage. Inconsistency and lacklustre display cost them a lot of points allowing others to narrow down the gap. All chances of a clean sweep are now gone. With reports of players losing their cool with the manager, this may act negatively. Atleti loss to Bilbao last weekend didn't helped at all. They are lucky to be at the top of the table just because of others stumbling on their path. To make matter tough for them, they have to visit Camp Nou to face Barcelona next weekend. They will battle against a good side in Real Sociedad next before finishing off with Osasuna and Valladolid. Which side will Atleti will turn up nobody is sure about but they cannot bottle it from here.
