The race started at a fast pace as Sergio Perez took the lead over Charles Leclerc in the opening corner itself and Leclerc was playing catch-up. Carlos Sainz had to be taken out of the race and that was the first big blow to Ferrari in this race and this caused a virtual safety car which Leclerc hoped would allow him to catch up to the ATed Bull cars. At lap 15 in the race Max Verstappen took the lead from his Red Bull teammate Perez and from there Max did not look back and he led throughout the race with Sergio Perez at 2nd place. .On the other hand Daniel Ricardo had his luck turned when a virtual safety car was causes by Kevin Magnussen and he took the lead. This allowed Daniel Ricardo to finish a respectable 8th in the race.

The End of the Race
