Billionaire and former Formula One boss, Bernie Ecclestone has predicted some drastic moves that might make headlines in the circuit soon. According to the business magnate, the Lewis Hamilton-Toto Wolff combo at Mercedes is set to end soon.

In his statement to The Sun, Bernie said he believes that Toto Wolff is set to join Aston Martin in 2021. He explained Wolff's friendship with billionaire Lawrence Stroll, who currently owns the Racing Point( formerly Force India) which is set to become the new Aston Martin season in 2021.

The British businessman further said,” Wolff has the brains to pick the right people to be friends with, and I think we will more than likely see him join Lawrence at Aston Martin. Lawrence has some people with him and the group has bought control of the company, and I suppose Toto could jump in there as chief executive. It might work.”

Ecclestone’s point has some facts driving it, the most prominent of which include the fact that Lewis Hamilton is out of contract at the end of the season. Furthermore, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo are out of contract as well, so there is a high possibility that the 2021 season might see many moves from all across the board.

What complicates things further is that Hamilton has repeatedly mentioned that he shares a great rapport with Wolff, and any moves he makes will directly be in response to what Wolff does. Hamilton said,” I don’t know what that is for him (Wolff), only he will know. Naturally, I don’t want him to leave, particularly if I’m staying in the sport. As a figurehead of a business, you’ve got to have the right people in place. He is and has been the right person, he has been the perfect match. It is important to me and I am waiting also to see where his head is at.”

Where do you think Hamilton and Wolff will end up next season?
