The four-time Asiad gold-medal-winning Indian men’s field hockey team will start the journey at the Asian Games 2026 as the defending champions. Kawasaki Juko Stadium at Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, is set to host all the men’s hockey fixtures at the Asian Games 2026 from 18 September to 3 October 2026.
A total of 20 players have been named for the Indian men’s field hockey team for the Asian Games 2026. It is also a direct qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, as the winners or gold medalists at the Asian Games 2026 will directly qualify for the upcoming Summer Olympics.
