Belgium qualified for the last two World Cup finals, where they won the trophy in the 2018 edition, and the defending champions finished as the runners-up in the 2023 edition.
While they are set to appear for the fourth consecutive World Cup edition, as they haven’t finished below the fifth position in the last three World Cup tournaments, the Red Lions are ready for their eighth overall appearance in the tournament's history.
