While the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 is more than five months away, which Belgium and the Netherlands will jointly host between 14 and 30 August 2026, here are the Qualifiers to select seven remaining spots for the upcoming World Cup.
2026 Men's FIH World Cup Qualifiers: Details
A total of 16 teams are ready to participate in the 2026 Men's FIH World Cup Qualifiers, with two different tournaments with eight teams each. Egypt is hosting one tournament between 1 and 8 March, while Chile is set to host the other tournament from 1 to 8 March. Suez Canal Authority Hockey Stadium at Ismailia in Egypt and Estadio Nacional del Hockey Césped Claudia Schüler at Santiago in Chile are the hosting venues for the qualifiers.
The top three teams from each tournament will qualify for the upcoming Hockey World Cup, while the highest world-ranked team among the fourth-placed teams from both tournaments will take up the remaining spot for the World Cup.
