Tamil Nadu Dragons were the semi-finalists in the Hockey India League 2024/25 edition, where they finished in fourth position after losing the third-place playoff against JSW Soorma. They are now ready for the HIL 2026, as they have set a strong squad.
The franchise utilised over INR 2.6 crore out of the INR 4 crore purse to retain some of their key players. In the latest auction, the franchise added four non-forwards, including one overseas name.
