Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 Schedule

It's time for the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025. India is hosting the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025, as Bihar’s Rajgir city has been scheduled to host this tournament between August 29 and September 7, 2025. Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium is set to host all 24 matches of this competition. 


Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 is the 12th edition of the tournament, where eight teams are participating, who are hosts India, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, and South Korea. Although Pakistan and Oman originally qualified for the tournament, they later withdrew from the tournament, and Bangladesh and Kazakhstan ultimately replaced them.

  • Champions will qualify for the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup 2026.

  • The 2nd to 6th teams will advance to the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026.

There are two groups in the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025, each comprising four teams. In the group stage, each team will face all three other teams in its group once.


At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 4s of the tournament. Meanwhile, the remaining two teams from each group will play the 5th to 8th-ranked playoffs.
