The Final Round of the 2025-26 Senior Women's National Football Championship for the Rajmata Jijabai Trophy is confirmed, with the eight group winners from the First Round confirmed to participate in the Round. The teams join last edition’s runners-up Odisha and defending champions Manipur, who received a bye to the Final Round. The 10 teams are divided into two groups, with the top two sides from each group qualifying for the knockouts. Group A consists of hosts Chhattisgarh, Goa, former winners Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and Odisha, while Group B contains Assam, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and holders Manipur. The Final Round games will take place at the Ramakrishna Mission Sports Complex in Chhattisgarh, starting on October 1, 2025.
Qualified Teams from Final Round
Punjab (Group A winners)
Punjab brushed aside Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir by winning all their games in the First Round to top Group A in style, scoring 11 goals in the process and conceding just once.
Haryana (Group B winners)
Topping Group B, the only group with three teams in the First Round, two-time runners-up Haryana won against Delhi and Uttarakhand with a combined score of 7-1. This is their fourth straight participation in the Final Round.
Uttar Pradesh (Group C winners)
This marks the first time Uttar Pradesh has reached the Final Round of the Senior Women’s NFC after successfully overcoming the challenges posed by Jharkhand, Bihar, and Rajasthan in the First Round. They collected nine points, scoring 10 goals and conceding just once.
West Bengal (Group D winners)
West Bengal powered through their First Round group to triumph against Sikkim, Railways and Meghalaya, advancing to the Final Round, scoring 19 goals and two clean sheets.
Assam (Group E winners)
Assam topped Group E in the First Round ahead of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura, taking nine points and scoring 15 goals.
Chhattisgarh (Group F winners)
The best-scoring side in the First Round of the competition, with 24 goals, Chhattisgarh is also set to participate in the Final Round by topping Group F, having beaten second-placed Karnataka on goal difference, with both teams ending on the same points. Chhattisgarh is the only team in the Final Round to have advanced without winning all their matches.
Tamil Nadu (Group G winners)
Two-time winners Tamil Nadu will participate in the Final Round after advancing past fellow Southern state Kerala, Pondicherry, and Andaman & Nicobar, earning nine points and scoring 22 goals to win Group G of the First Round.
Goa (Group H winners)
The final team to qualify for the Final Round is Goa, who claimed the top spot in Group H of the First Round ahead of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
