But there is another strong contender like the previous season who is having better chances to lift their maiden IPL Trophy ever. Delhi Capitals is one of the strongest sides in recent years with more young talents into the line-up. So that clearly means, Shreyas Iyer services definitely going to miss Delhi capitals for the coming entire season as this injury is going to take at least 4-5 months to get settled. Four genuine fast bowlers Kaigso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma. Even the all-rounder Chris Woakes can bowl at a good pace which makes it too fifth pacer in the team.

 

If you think they might have released the spinners in case of more fast bowlers or never bought anyone in the auction earlier then you might have missed the major part of the auction. Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra and Axar Patel are three experienced spinners who are going to lead the spin department. This bowling unit has been strongest enough in the league among teams in the tournament.

 

Players like Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis and Prithvi Shaw can also play the role of finishers in tough situations to bail the team out of trouble. Playoffs in 2019 which was after 7 long years and into the finals in the last season of IPL 2020 where they eventually lost to Mumbai Indians. So Delhi Capitals are going to complete this sequence of the last two seasons with the trophy under their feathers in the upcoming season or we have to wait for another season.
