Now that the Tata IPL 2022 is coming to a close with just 1 match remaining it is time to have some fun and make the best combined XI of this IPL. There have been lots of players who have done really well in this IPL but we will be only considering those players who have done well at the position that they will be selected in this Team. For example there are lots of players who have done well at number 3 for their teams but we can only select 1 and so the other players at number 3 will not be selected for number 5 or 6 in the batting order In this combined X1

Without saying anything else let’s get into the team of the tournament and I want our readers to give their best XI as well and let’s have some fun with this.

Openers:

Jos Buttler:

This is the easiest position to fill in the team as the number 1 player in my team will be Jos Buttler and who else could It be. Scoring 824 runs with 1 match still left and scoring 4 IPL hundreds and 4 half centuries, He was always going to be number 1. He has an astonishing average of 58.85 and a strike rate of 151.47 in this IPL.

KL Rahul:

There were a lot of very good openers to choose from like Quinton De Kock, David Warner, Wriddhiman Saha etc but the opening partner for Jos Buttler has to be KL Rahul. Scoring 600+ runs year after year is no joke and no matter his team came fourth he was the standout. So, he is the second opener. KL Rahul has an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 135.38 in this IPL.

Middle Order:

Sanju Sanson:

The captain of Rajasthan Royals is our number 3 with 444 runs with 1 match still left to go and he has had a great IPL with a strike rate of 147.50 and he has played a lot of crucial innings and he can hit the ball better than anybody else so he will be the perfect foil at number 3.

Hardik Pandya:

At number 4 is the Gujarat Titans Captain Hardik Pandya who has had a breakout session after so long and he has looked assured of his batting and that is the reason he has scored 453 runs with 1 match left to go. He has a highest score of 87* and he has scored 4 half centuries In this IPL at a strike rate of 132.84 and an average of 45.30.

David Miller:

If there is a player who has reinvented himself and found the old mojo back it’s this great player David Miller. Gujarat Titans picked him and he has gone out and won Matches for them single handedly. He has a total of 449 runs in this IPL with a highest of 94* with an average of 64.14 and a strike rate of 141.19.. He is the only number 5 in this team.

Dinesh Karthik (WK):

The wicket keeper battee in this team has to be Dinesh Karthik because of the sheer brilliance he has shown this season for RCB. He has scored 330 runs in 16 Matches at an astounding strike rate of 183.33 and an average of 55 so he had to be in this team at number 6.

All Rounders and Bowlers:

Andre Russell:

The one shining light for the KKR team and the best all rounder in this IPL comes in at number 7 in my team. Andre Russell has had a great IPL with 335 runs at a strike rate of 174.47 and an average of 37.22. He hit 32 sixes in this IPL and is the highest wicket taker for KKR in this IPL with a total of 17 wickets in this IPL season so he is the perfect number 7.

Umran Malik:

You have to keep him in your team just for the sheer impact and pace he has and it has been said that you can’t teach pace. Not only that Umran Malik has picked 22 wickets this IPL and is number 4 in the most wickets list and he scares the batters with over 155 kmph so he is our number 8.

Yuzvendra Chahal:

At number 9 is the best spinner of the IPL who is at 26 wickets with 1 match left to get the Purple Cap. He has had how best IPL season yet and he deserves this place in the best X1 of this IPL so at number 9 is the great Yuzvendra Chahal.

Rashid Khan:

The number 10 and the 4th overseas player in my team is none other than Rashid Khan. Year after year he comes and he delivers and this year he has got 18 wickets in total with 1 match left and he has an economy rate of just 6.73 in this IPL so he is a 4 overs bank therefore at number 10 is Rashid Khan.

Mohsin Khan:

There was a lot of debate about the last player In this team. Should it be Prasidh Krishna or Arshdeep Singh or Kuldeep Yadav or Mukesh Choudhary but I have went with the most impressive young bowler who has not allowed any team to get runs off him and that is Mohsin Khan. He has taken 14 IPL Wickets in just 9 Matches this season at an economy rate of only 5.96 which is mind blowing. So, Mohsin Khan completes my Best X1 of IPL 2022.
