The Delhi Capitals are among the underrated teams that have the courage to change their fate in the IPL 2026 edition. Their best record in IPL history was finishing as runners-up, which they recorded in the 2020 edition.
After recording three consecutive seasons Playoffs (2019, 2020, and 2021), Delhi Capitals failed to qualify for the Playoffs last four seasons. In the IPL 2025, they finished in the fifth position, as they closely missed the Playoffs spot.
Delhi Capitals will begin the IPL 2026 with the away game. Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is as usual their home venue of the season, where they will play all seven home matches of the season, while they will also play seven more away games in the 14-match league stage.
