GT Lowest Successful Defended Totals
In the IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans successfully defended their total of 135/6 against the hosts Lucknow Super Giants, who scored 128/7 in 20 overs. The top three LSG batters scored strong runs, captain KL Rahul scored 68 while Kyle Mayers and Krunal Pandya scored 24 and 23 runs, respectively, but all the next batters failed to reach double-digit scores. Among the GT bowlers, Mohit Sharma (2/17) and Noor Ahmad (2/18) got two wickets each. LSG needed 12 runs in the last over with seven wickets in hand, and they lost four wickets in the final over, including two run outs, which led GT to a dramatic win.
