Lalit Yadav was born on 3rd January,1997. He is a right handed batsman and can bowl right arm off break. His height is about 183 cm. He is from Najafgarh,Delhi. He completed his school from Delhi Public School and then went onto college to pursue his bachelor's degree and complete his graduation. He started playing cricket from a very young age and played his first U-12 match in Delhi for Delhi Public School. He made a name for himself when he striked six sixes in an over and got himself into the Delhi cricket team.

 

On 17 November,2017 he made his first class debut against Maharashtra at Delhi. He scored a half century on his debut and his contribution really helped his team. Scoring a fifty on debut is always a great achievement and when it comes handy for his team, then it is more beautiful. Not only did he scored runs with his bat but he also contributed with the bowl as well. He picked up two wickets in two innings and this led his side to a victory. Playing a pivotal role in your debut and helping your team is really a commendable job. He made his List A debut on 15 February,2018 against Himachal Pradesh. He bowled an economical spell of 0/49 in his 10 overs but could not contribute with his bat as he went back to the pavilion for just two runs. A month after his List A debut, he got selected into the Delhi T20 team. He picked up a wicket and scored 15 off 10 deliveries. Lalit played 12 first class matches till date and picked nine wickets and scored 570 runs. He scored 459 runs in his 19 innings List A career and he also picked up 29 wickets. In his T20 career, he picked up 27 wickets in 34 innings at an economy rate of 6.86. He scored 560 runs in this format which includes 55 fours and 23 sixes. Looking at the numbers, we can say that he has a decent career so far and for this, his name is catching the attention of all the people across the country.
