Prabhsimran Singh was born on 10th August,2000. He is a right handed batsman and is a wicket-keeper. He represents Punjab in  domestic cricket. His height is 173 cm.

 

He made his first class debut on 17th February,2022 against Himachal Pradesh at Delhi. He scored 152 runs in 3 innings with an average of 38.00 and strike rate of 85.87. He is involved in one caught behind dismissal. He made his List A debut on 7th December,2018 against Afghanistan emerging at Colombo. He scored 540 runs in 16 innings with an average of 36.00 and strike rate of 91.06. He is involved in 8 caught behind dismissals and two stumpings. He made his T20 debut on 21st February,2019 against Madhya Pradesh at Indore. He scored 836 runs in 31 innings with an average of 33.44 and a strike rate of 136.60. He is involved in 15 caught behind dismissals and 3 stumpings. As a youngster, the numbers are decent but to reach the next level, he needs to improve it.

When he was at the National Cricket Academy, Kiran More, former Indian Cricket team wicket-keeper was impressed with his display. He spotted his talent at that time and his career started to launch from that time onwards. His cousin brother is also a cricketer and plays for an IPL franchise. He and his cousin brother, Anmolpreet Singh, shared a 239 run partnership in a game where Prabhsimran almost made his triple hundred. Scoring a triple hundred would have been a memorable moment in his career but he missed it by a whisker. He idolize Virendra Singh, former Indian Cricket team explosive opener but in terms of wicket keeping, he rates the former  Australian keeper Adam Gilchrist above all.

 

This year, he was picked up by Punjab Kings in the IPL auction. He is regarded as the hard hitting keeper batsman.
