SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set for the IPL 2026. The IPL 2016 champions hugely impressed in the 2024 season, where they unfortunately finished runners-up despite playing dominant cricket, especially with the bat.
In the last IPL season (2025), SRH had a poor start. Although they performed strongly later in the season, those performances weren’t enough, as they finished in sixth position.
SRH are ready for the IPL 2026 journey, as they will play the tournament opener against the defending champions and the hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The franchise will play 14 league stage games in the 2026 season, including seven at home (Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad) and the other seven at away venues.
