The IPL 2023 season is fast approaching and KKR has a new set-up in their ranks as they have brought in reputed Indian coach Chandrakant Pandit as their head coach and he is known to be a serial winner for whichever team he coaches and he has a terrific record in the Ranji Trophy. This is a bold call as it is for the first time that a truly Indian coach will be the coach of an IPL franchise.

It is the Indian premier league and so having a coach that knows the ins and outs of the Indian domestic system and the players he will be working with inside out so that means that there will be no communication issues when it comes to the Indian players and especially the domestic ones who have not played at this level before and he will calm them down and get the best out of them throughout the season.

Perhaps the biggest advantage that Chandrakant Pandit brings to the KKR set-up is that he knows how to win and how to win year after year in Ranji trophy and all other competitions he has been a part of over the long coaching career he has had and by having someone who knows how to win , he will apply the same formula as to how to win the IPL and he will train his players in such a way that they give their best at all times and win the IPL.
