Here is the list of players who have written down the fastest centuries in the history of IPL:

 

1. Chris Gayle:


Universal boss not only scored the fastest century in IPL, this is the fastest century in cricket history as well as the highest individual score in IPL and T20 cricket. Playing for RCB back in 2013, Chris Gayle scored the fastest century in IPL history from 30 balls against Pune Warriors. Gayle scored an amazing 175 runs in that match which is still the highest individual score in T20 history. In this innings, Gayle hit seventeen massive sixers and thirteen boundaries.

 

2. Yusuf Pathan:


Former Indian international Yusuf Pathan is very well known for his fast scoring abilities. He is one of the destructive batsmen to play the sport. Yusuf Pathan holds the record for scoring the fastest IPL century by an Indian player. On 13th March 2010 he scored a mighty 100 runs from 37 balls against Mumbai Indians. His innings include 8 big sixes and 9 boundaries.

 

3. David Miller:


David Miller has shown his ability to score fast runs on many occasions. Playing for KXIP in IPl, David Miller again showed his talent by scoring fast runs. On 6th May 2013, Miller scored runs from 38 balls which is the third fastest century in IPL history. This amazing batting stint was against RCB and his innings included 7 sixes and 8 fours.

 

4. Adam Gilchrist:


One of the finest cricketers ever, Adam Gilchrist is very well known for his amazing match winning innings. He has the record of scoring the fourth fastest century in IPL history. On 27th April 2008, Gilchrist scored an amazing 109 runs from 42 balls which was the fastest century at that time. This amazing innings from him includes 10 sixes and 9 boundaries.

 

5. AB de Villers:


When it comes to cricket records, it is difficult to find stats where there is no de Villiers. This amazing player is very successful in enjoying the game as well as making the game enjoyable. Playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he scored 129 runs from 43 balls. His man of the match innings include 12 sixes and 10 boundaries.
