One of the biggest success stories in IPL history has been the emergence of Gujarat Titans and how soon they have become so successful and more successful than the teams who have been around for 15 years and they have only played 18 Matches in their IPL career and they are the defending champions and have started the second season with a bang.

The biggest reason for their success in such a short period of time is the emergence of Hardik Pandya the captain that has emerged since last year when he started leading the Gujarat Titans and has shown traits to him that the other people at first did not see and all of them questioned the choice of Hardik Pandya but he proved them all wrong by showing calmness and not getting freaked out in pressure situations. He has also become a dependable batter as well as a 4 overs bank. Hardik is an attacking captain and he is not afraid to show Aggression when needed and Hardik Pandya will only get better as a captain.

Ashish Nehra the coach
If the credit is rightly given to Hardik Pandya the captain then equal credit has to be given to Ashish Nehra the coach as well as Gary Kirsten who is also in their support staff. Ashish Nehra oe a very laid back personality and his funny side helps the team get calm and not take any pressure at all. Ashish Nehra is also a very hands on coach as he is seen running throughout the ground the whole match like a football manager. And he gives them all the confidence that the players should play without fear of getting dropped.

This is also a very important reason that the Gujarat Titans are one of the most successful teams in the IPL. When at first everyone looked at their team , nobody expected then to do so well because other then a few big players they did not have other players that were so big. However thr great thing was that they found so many different match winners throughout the seasons so far. They had different men of the match each gaje like Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson last season, Sai Sudarshan this season, David Miller who has become a match winner. All of them can win then matches and that is the best part.

One more reason is that the balance of their team is absolutely amazing and they can adapt to any conditions that are put in front of them. They have a settled batting order of Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, Hardik Pandya, David Miller, Sai Sudarshan, Rahul Tewatia. And their bowling attack is so varied like they have Mohammad Shami, Joshua Little as fast bowlers and Rashid Khan as the spinner and Hardik Pandya can also bowl 4 overs.
