Two-time PKL finalists and PKL 6 champions Bengaluru Bulls are ready to start their journey in the PKL 2025 with a strong team. In the last two PKL seasons, they failed to reach the Playoffs by finishing in eighth and 12th places, respectively. Bulls are ready to improve their status in the 2025 season.
Apart from retaining some new young players, Bengaluru Bulls spent INR 4.949 crore in the PKL 12 auction to add 15 players.
While the Bulls spent INR 1.125 crore to secure the right corner Yogesh Dahiya during the PKL 12 auction, it was the most expensive spending for an Indian defender in PKL auction history. In the PKL 2025, while he is the only player with a crore valuation in the team, Category B domestic defender Sanjay Dhull (INR 60 lakhs) and Category C domestic player Akash Santosh Shinde (INR 53.10 lakhs) are the two other names in the squad who received at least 50 lakhs through successful bidding in the latest PKL auction.

PKL 2025: Bengaluru Bulls – Strengths
Defence is the major strength for Bulls. Apart from buying the right corner Yogesh Dahiya, a consistent defender for the last two seasons with 149 tackle points in 49 matches, they have also bought left corner Ankush Rathee, the Best Defender in PKL 9, who has recorded 227 tackle points in 69 PKL matches. They also have the right cover Sanjay Dhull, and the left cover Dheeraj.
PKL 2025: Bengaluru Bulls – Weaknesses
Bulls have a weakness in the attack. Apart from retaining some young attackers, they also added Akash Shinde from the auction. The lack of a well-established raider can be a big issue for the PKL 6 champions, as most of the players have to prove themselves in the attacking position.
Final Verdict
The Bengaluru Bulls PKL 2025 squad looks defensively strong with a historic investment in Yogesh Dahiya and the presence of Ankush and Sanjay Dhull. However, their lack of proven raiders could make scoring consistently a challenge. If their young raiders rise to the occasion, the Bulls could push for a playoff spot, but otherwise, defence alone may not carry them through.
