It was a 21 lap race and the Buddha International Circuit was 5 kms and it is one of the longest circuits in the calendar. It was built for Formula 1 and now with the arrival of Moto GP, hopefully Formula 1 will be coming soon. There were a total of 20 drivers. The race started and Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martin and Peco Bagmaia the Top 3 and Mark Marquez was in the 4th spot. As soon as the opening laps got over Marco Bezzecchi was ahead by more than a second and the Jorge Martin was in P2 and behind him was Peco Bagmaia. Mark Marquez crashed but he was a part of the race and Fabio Quartararo was In the 5th spot. By the 6th lap it was clear that Marco Bezzecchi was going to win the Grand Prix because nobody was catching him and his lead was getting over 4 seconds.

Jorge Martin and Peco Bagmaia were in a great battle and they were trading places. In the Drivers Championship Peco Bagmaia was 33 points ahead and Jorge Martin was looking to close the gap. Brad Binder and Joan Mir were battling it out for 5th place. This was the best race of the season for both Fabio Quartararo and Joan Mir who were the World Champions in 2020 and 2021. Mark Marquez had recovered and he was nearing the Top 10 and get some points. After the 15th Lap Marco Bezzecchi was more than 7 seconds ahead but Peco Bagmaia who was looking for P2 crashed out and this threw the championship wide open and Jorge Martin has the chance to reduce the gap by 20 points.

In the 21st and last lap of the race is where the real drama kicked in as Mark Marquez got into 9tg place and Joan Mir was trying to overtake Brad Binder for 4th place but was unable to do so. Jorge Martin was feeling the heat in Noida and this allowed Fabio Quartararo to get into P2 but Jorge Martin quickly got the  place back. Marco Bezzecchi won the race with almost 9 seconds to spare. And Jorge Martin finished second and Fabio Quartararo was again on the podium after a great weekend. It was an incredible first Moto GP India and it will only get better in 2024 with the feedback of everyone. As a result of this race Peco Bagmaia is at 292 points, Jorge Martin is at 279 points and Marco Bezzecchi is on 248 points.
