Ankita Dhyani: Early life and preparation with boys
Ankita Dhyani was born on 5th February 2002. She is from Maroda village in Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand. As there was no girl to play sports in her village, Ankita regularly prepared to run with the boys who would run the high hill road to prepare for the army physical exams.
In the World U20 Championships 2021 in Nairobi, Kenya, Ankita finished eighth in the women’s 5000m event.
