Let's look at the Match Card for AEW Grand Slam France
Will Ospreay vs Kazuchika Okada for the AEW World Championship
There are very few matches in professional wrestling that can be categorised as a true dream match these days. This is near the top of that list. Will Ospreay vs Kazuchika Okada is a match that can easily be one of the greatest matches of all time. Kazuchika Okada is the AEW International Champion and he will look to win a second AEW title. Will Osperay just beat the AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley at All Out. This match will get over 30 minutes and The Don Callis Family will be ringside to help Okada. Tony Khan knows how to generate hype for their first ever show in France.
Mercedes Mone vs Queen Aminata for AEW Women's Championship
Both the World titles will be defended at this show. This was not the case at All Out. Mercedes Mone has gotten better with her face injury and she will look to get back in rhythm for her match at this show. She will face Queen Aminata who has become one of the breakouts of the AEW Women's division. This will be a big match for the challenger and the champion will make Queen Aminata look like a million dollars. This is the only women's match on the show. The fans in France love Mercedes Mone.
Darby Allin vs Kyle Fletcher for the AEW TNT Championship
This is the third of the four title matches that will take place at this show. Darby Allin is the TNT Champion and he will have to face his toughest opponent in Kyle Fletcher. This match will be incredible and Darby Allin will force Kyle Fletcher to wrestle a different type of match. The Don Callis Family will have two title Matches on the same show. The other members will try to make sure that Kyle Fletcher is once again the TNT Champion. The fans in France will fall in love with Darby Allin.
Bandido vs Kofi for ROH World Championship
The fourth title match of the show will be for the ROH World Championship. Kofi who recently won the AEW Trios Championship with Austin Creed and Swerve Strickland will look to once again become a World Champion. He will have to face Bandido who has been unbeatable as the champion. This match could open the show and the fans in France know Kofi the most out of all the wrestlers who will perform at this show. There is a very realistic chance that Kofi is a double champion by the end of Grand Slam France.
Samoa Joe vs Jack Perry in a Qualifying Match for Clockwork Carnage
The final match on this show will be a Qualifying Match that will take place to earn a spot in a new match type in AEW. Clockwork Carnage is a match type that Tony Khan will introduce in AEW. This is a match that is like a Gauntlet Match with penalties for getting pinned. Samoa Joe will return to the ring at this show and he will face a familiar foe in Jack Perry. The match card for this show can rival any wrestling PPV in 2026. This Match between these two wrestlers will also be a good clash of styles.
