AEW had their Grand Slam Mexico show on 18th June 2025. This show was held at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City. There were 6 Matches at this event. The Matches got time and the stars built their stories going into All In in July. There were a total of 6 Matches that took place at this show.

Adam Cole, Atlantis Jr, Bandido, Brody King, Templario, Atlantis and Daniel Garcia beat FTR, Don Callis Family and Volador Jr
This was a 16 minute match which had 14 men that went at it in the opening match of the show. This was a fun tag team match. Bandido got the most cheers from the fans. Adam Cole was one of the biggest stars of the match. This was the match which had talent from AEW and CMLL performing. FTR vs Atlantis was forming for the future. Daniel Garcia hit a beautiful Crossbody on Cash Wheeler in this match. Atlantis Jr was booed the most throughout the contest. The fans were making their opinions known and Brody King wore a shirt that supported Mexico.
Kazuchika Okada beat Mark Briscoe
This was the first singles match of the show. It was the champion Okada against the veteran Mark Briscoe. This match was 13 minutes long and Mark Briscoe looked very good. However the story here was Okada and his new alliance with Don Callis. Okada was acting all heelish and he was happy that he took out Kenny Omega for good. Don Callis was on commentary and he did not take any heat. Okada hit the Rainmaker to win this match. The fans at the arena chanted for Kenny Omega after the match but it was not the right time for The Cleaner to return.
Mistico beat MJF by DQ
This was the match which had the crowd the most excited. It was their first time seeing Mistico in action in Mexico. MJF was with The Hurt Syndicate. He came out wearing the American paint and holding the flag of his country. The match was 17 minutes long. His partners MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin were outside the ring to make sure that MJF got as much advantage as possible. MJF tried to spit on the face of Mistico but he would not allow it. MJF hit a Tombstone on Mistico and tried to get a countdown win but it was not to be. Getting frustrated he got himself disqualified and Mistico got the win.
Hologram beat Ricochet, Lio Rush and Masacara Dorada
This was the match that had four of the best high flyers in the company. They got a lot of time in 16 minutes and they made the most of it. Ricochet and Lio Rush were taking down Hologram and Masacara Dorada. Hologram and Masacara Dorada hit Suicide dives on their opponents. Lio Rush hit three PoisonRanas back to back and he got the nearest fall of the match. Hologram continued his undefeated streak and he won the match with a Portal Bomb to win the match. Masacara Dorada is one of the brightest stars from CMLL.
Mercedes Mone beat Zeuxis for CMLL Women’s Championship
This was the shortest match on the show. It was 10 minutes long. Zeuxis was the defending champion going into this match. Mercedes Mone was going for a Somersault but Zeuxis countered it and got a near fall. Zeuxis hit a Side Slam for another near fall. Mercedes Mone hit the Meteora and she got a near fall of her own. This was going towards being a great match. After Mercedes Mone won the title it was Mina Shirakawa who distracted the champion and Toni Storm attacked her opponent for All In. Mercedes Mone has six belts and she will be going for a 7th at All In.
Death Riders and Young Bucks and Beast Mortos beat The Opps, Swerve Strickland and Will Osperay
This was the main event of the show. It was the men who were in the main event storyline battling it out. This match was 16 minutes of pure wild wrestling and the fans were totally behind the babyfaces and were booing the heels. Will Osperay got the biggest pop of the night which was only rivalled by Samoa Joe getting the hot tag. Will showed his high flying skills and the fans were going crazy. Jon Moxley was getting booed out of the building as was Wheeler Yuta. The Death Riders and Young Bucks got the win and they will take all the momentum to All In. Hangman Adam Page came out after this match and he hit Matt Jackson by accident.
