The AEW PPV for the month of October will be WrestleDream. This will be the third annual WrestleDream show. This show has been built in a way that has been mixed. Some of the matches on this show are very exciting while others are not very interesting. This PPV will be held on 18th October 2025.
Let’s look at the Match Card for AEW WrestleDream 2025
Hangman Page vs Samoa Joe for AEW World Championship
The main event for this show is a match that looks very exciting. It is the champion Adam Page who is one of the best in the world. He will face one of the all time greats in Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe has recently said that he will also retire from professional wrestling soon. He and Adam Page will have a Banger match but both these men are babyfaces and they have no reason to feed against each other. This is not like John Cena vs AJ Styles where the match can be an all time classic without a story. The match will be more than 30 minutes and Samoa Joe will look to give it his all in what could probably be his final World Championship Match.
Darby Allin vs Jon Moxley in an I Quit Match
This match is easily the best built match on the show. These two men absolutely hate each other and the latest segment was in a prison cell and both men said that they will kill each other. This will be an I Quit Match where the only objective is to make the opponent say I Quit. This will be a brutal match with a lot of blood. This is one of those rare Jon Moxley Matches where blood Is warranted. Darby Allin has been a changed man ever since he has climbed Mount Everest. This can be the best match of the show. Anybody could win this match and obviously the Death Riders will interfere in the match.
Kris Statlander vs Toni Storm for AEW Women’s Championship
This is one of the women’s matches on the show. Kris Statlander shocked the wrestling world when she won the title at the last PPV. Ever since Toni Storm has been trying to win the title back. This match has also had a good build and Kris Statlander has been made to look like a champion and someone who could beat Toni Storm one on one. Toni Storm will look to win the AEW Women’s title for the 5th time in her career. This match can be great if given 20 minutes. Kris Statlander knows that this is the match where she could show how much she has improved in the ring.
Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe for AEW TNT Championship
Kyle Fletcher has been one of the best young wrestlers in AEW. He has constantly improved and grown and is now the TNT Champion. He had a brilliant match against Adam Page at the last PPV for 40 minutes. Kyle Fletcher showed out during that match. At this PPV he will face Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship. This match has had an okay build and the fans are in the corner of Mark Briscoe. This was one of the best matches in the career of Mark Briscoe. Kyle Fletcher is a great TNT Champion.
Brodido vs The Don Callis Family for AEW World Tag Team Championship
This is the Final title match at this show. This match will be for the tag team titles. Brodido have become fan favourites in the short time that they have been champion. Bandido and Brody King have formed a great chemistry as a tag team and they have beaten all the big tag teams. However they will face The Don Callis Family at this PPV. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita will represent the family in this match. The chemistry between these two men specifically has not been great. Konosuke Takeshita has been wanting to leave the family. It is Maybe in this match that he costs The Don Callis Family the tag team match. This will be an excellent tag team match.
Jamie Hayter vs Thekla
This is the second women’s match at this show. It will be Jamie Hayter vs Thekla. These two women are in line for the women’s title. Jamie Hayter is seen as the next big star in the women’s division. Thekla is one of the most powerful women in the company. This match is an opportunity for both women to show Tony Khan that they deserve bigger spotlights and they should be champions. Jamie Hayter is one of the most popular women in AEW. This could be the best women’s non title match that AEW has had.
Jurassic Express vs The Young Bucks
The stipulation for this match is amazing. It is not a type of match but the winner of this match will receive $500,000. The Young Bucks are having this gimmick where they compete in matches and win money by winning them. This will be by far the biggest prize that they will fight for. They will face their former friend Jack Perry and Luchasaurus. Jack Perry has been trying to make amends with everyone whom he offended while being a heel. This match will be personal and Luchasaurus doesn’t know if he can trust Jack Perry. This match is interesting.
