TNA wrestling is the third biggest wrestling promotion in the world. It has been there for nearly 25 years. At one point in the early 2000s it was the main competition for WWE. They had some of the best wrestling matches in the world. They had the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Gail Kim, Mickie James etc. Currently they are in a partnership with WWE and that has helped them to gain more traction. They have TNA Slammiversary coming up and more than 5000 fans will attend it on 20th July.

1) AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels at TNA Unbreakable 2005
This is without a question the greatest TNA Match of all time. These three men put on a 5 star classic the likes that have been touched in TNA ever since. This was a match between the three faces of the company. AJ Styles was the best wrestler in the world. Samoa Joe was the best big man and Christopher Daniels was a team player. This was a 30 minute classic that set the bar for Matches in professional wrestling. TNA was living through a golden time in the early to mid 2000s.
2) Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe at TNA Genesis 2006
Kurt Angle had recently come from WWE and he was eager to make his mark in TNA. Samoa Joe was the best wrestler in 2006. This was a dream match and it did not disappoint. This was better than most of Kurt Angle’s matches that he had in WWE. This was Peak Kurt Angle. Samoa Joe was the perfect big man and this match surpassed all expectations. This is the second match on this list from the 2005 era. TNA wrestling was the hottest wrestling promotion for a number of years as fans knew if they wanted to watch professional wrestling then TNA was the place.
3) Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money in 2010
This was a best of 7 series and it would not be fair to not include this whole series as a whole in this list. These 2 teams were the best in the world in 2010. Beer Money had James Storm and Robert Roode. They had this rivalry in 2010 when WWE was also getting better after years of mediocre content. Motor City Machine Guns showed the world why they are one of the best tag teams in the world. Robert Roode was shortly in WWE after this TNA run that he had.
4) Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong at TNA turning point 2007
This is one of the best women’s rivalries of all time in TNA. They were doing this in 2007 when WWE had women doing the kinds of Matches that no woman should ever have to take part in. TNA wrestling had the best women’s division in the world. Gail Kim was the cornerstone of the division and for years she was not on good terms with WWE. Awesome Kong, also known as Kharma in WWE, had a brilliant match against Gail Kim in 2007. This was a very physical match and it was a long match. Both women had different strengths and they used it perfectly. Gail Kim has been in very good relations with WWE ever since Triple H took over.
5) Mickie James vs Deonna Purrazzo at TNA Hard to Kill 2022
This is the only match on this list that is from the 2020s. This Texas Death Match that happened between these two women was nothing short of spectacular. Both women hated each other before going into this match. It was a match where everything went and both women bled. They used tables, chairs, and steps to hurt each other. Deonna Purrazzo was cool in TNA wrestling but when she left then she went to AEW and has been doing nothing since. Women’s wrestling has always been thriving in TNA. They have 3 out of the 7 Matches at TNA Slammiversary 2025.
