TNA Slammiversary was the first PPV that took place on 28th June. The show started 4 hours before AEW Forbidden Door. This show had 7 Matches and this was the best TNA PPV of the year. There were surprises and title changes.

Cedric Alexander won the Ultimate X Match for TNA X Division Championship
The first match on the show was the 7 man Ultimate X Match for the TNA X Division Championship. Cedric Alexander was the champion heading into this match. This was a 11 minute match. Amazing Red made his TNA return after 15 years. Fabian Aichner delivered a Diving Crossbody from the top turnbuckle that took everybody out. KC Navarro and Leon Slater were the high flying experts and they traded Superkicks until both men were down. Amazing Red showed why he is a teacher for so many of the top professional wrestlers as he was diving from ladders. He and Leon Slater were close to winning the match but out of nowhere Cedric Alexander leapt over them and snatched the title.
Elijah beat AJ Francis
This was a good old fashioned grudge match that is one of the best things about professional wrestling. This was a 9 minute match. AJ Francis used his body to his advantage as he dominated Elijah early on. His faction Expressions were trash talking Elijah from the outside. Elijah was the more athletic man and he was going to the top rope and attacking AJ Francis. Elijah hit a Canadian Destroyer and won an emotional match. He doesn’t lose anything and AJ Francis lists everything.
Rosemary and Allie beat The Elegance Brand for TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship
The first women’s match on the show was for the tag team titles. It was the match between The Elegance Brand vs Rosemary and Allie. This was a 10 minutes match. The Elegance Brand used their experience as they were executing quick tags to isolate Allie In the corner. Rosemary hit the green mist on Ash By Elegance. Heather by Elegance hit her finisher on her own partner by accident. This turned the match on its Head. Allie hit the Codebreaker on Heather and then Rosemary hit the Reverse DDT and the new tag team was crowned.
Mustafa Ali beat Rich Swann and Uhaa Nation for TNA International Championship
This was the Mustafa Ali Open Challenge for the TNA International Championship. One of his opponents Rich Swann was announced at the pre show. However there was another surprise waiting as Uhaa Nation who is known as Apollo Crews to WWE fans made his return to professional wrestling. This was a 10 minute match. Mustafa Ali delivered the Agent Zero and then he trapped Uhaa Nation underneath the steel ring steps to take him out. Mustafa Ali and Rich Swann had a Banger as Rich Swann hit the German Suplex but Ali kicked out. Mustafa Ali used his smarts as he rolled Rich Swann to retain the title.
Xia Brookside beat Lei Ying Lee for TNA Knockouts Championship
The triple main event has started and the first one was for the TNA Knockouts Championship. It was the Champion Lei Ying Lee who was looking to win this match. This was a 12 minute match. Lei Ying Lee used her Power advantage as she was giving Xia Brookside stiff strikes and overhead Suplexes. Xia Brookside was using her speed as she was delivering Dropkicks to the champion to keep her on edge. Lei Ying Lee tried to hurt Xia Brookside by exposing the turnbuckle but she ended up hitting it herself. Xia took advantage and hit the DDT which pinned Lei Ying Lee. Xia Brookside was the new TNA Knockouts Champion.
The Broken Hardys beat The Righteous, The System and The Great Hands in Ladder Match for TNA Tag Team Championship
This was the longest match of the show and probably the second best match of the PPV. It was a Fatal Four Way tag team ladder match for the titles. It was an 18 minute match. There was a Wicked Ladder that was brought out by Matt and Jeff Hardy which had barbed wire all over it. The Righteous and The Great Hands suffered at the hands of this ladder. Brother Nero went to the top of a ladder and delivered a Swanton Bomb onto opponents who were stacked across multiple tables. Matt and Jeff Hardy cleared the Ring then climbed the ladder together and won the tag team titles. This was a certified Banger.
Nic Nemeth beat Mike Santana for TNA World Championship
The TNA Slammiversary show had multiple title changes and all the three main events saw new Champions. The main event of the show saw Mike Santana defend the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth. This was a 16 minute masterclass in professional wrestling. Mike Santana was the more powerful man and he used that power to deliver strikes to his challenger. Both men hit finishers with Nic Nemeth hitting the ZigZag and Mike Santana hitting the Spin Out Powerbomb but neither man was down for the count of 3. Nic Nemeth in the closing stages landed a Danger Zone finisher to win the match and become the new TNA World Champion. This was an excellent professional wrestling PPV.
