Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal is perhaps the most trending superstar on WWE today. His story would leave people baffled. In his initial days, he was selected to perform as a jobber. However, he always had the potential to become a big star. Thereafter, he joined the 3MB along with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. However, night after night, he received flak and the trio used to get beaten up.

His fortune changed drastically once he started working on his physique. Upon his return, the WWE Universe was unable to recognize him for his impressive body features. His wrestling style improved considerably. He contested in a fatal-four way match and became the number one contender for the WWE title. Mahal defeated Randy Orton to win his first ever World Championship. He was the champion for 170 days. Mahal has mastered the art of delivering promos which is what matters the most in this PG Era of WWE. He lost the title to AJ Styles but again qualified as a contender for the United States Championship.

Mahal headlined WrestleMania 34 and won the fatal-four-way match to win his maiden United States Championship. He started getting all the limelight which he could have hardly imagined a couple of years ago. However, he was drafted to RAW and lost the title to Jeff Hardy.

That did not prevent Mahal from making an impression. He competed in the singles competition and proved everyone that he is a tough competitor to compete against. Mahal attacked Roman Reigns and this instigated a rivalry between the duo. It is perhaps the first time in the history of WWE, that a villainous character is getting more cheers than a face. Mahal is delivering impressive story-lines and it is helping WWE to increase its viewership.

Next, he should be made to compete against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Mahal has stated that he desires to become a grand-slam Champion before this year ends. However, he should be given a title shot at the Universal Championship. Lesnar and Mahal have never competed against one another. It could be an outstanding rivalry. Lesnar is the past and Mahal is the future of WWE. Therefore, this should be an outstanding contest.

This contest can headline PPV's and main-event shows. Jinder Mahal is a ruthless brawler and the 'beast' Brock Lesnar fears none. Both of them would beat the hell out of one another. However, with Sunil Singh round his corner, it would not be very difficult for Mahal to pull a victory over Lesnar and become the next WWE Universal Champion. It would be absolutely 'best for business'.
