ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026: Dominating Canada Qualify For Their Second T20 World Cup

Canada have qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after the hosts finished as the champions in the 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, where they dominated and were unbeaten.

Canada have qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after the hosts finished as the champions in the 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, where they dominated and were unbeaten. 


Canada, who made their T20 World Cup debut in the last edition in 2024, will play their second T20 World Cup during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will host. 


In the 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, apart from the hosts Canada, who qualified for the tournament for participating in the previous T20 World Cup, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Cayman Islands participated after earning the acceptable top three ranks in the Sub-regional Qualifier last December.  


Canada won all the matches in the 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, as they had no challenges. They finished the campaign with 12 points in six matches, while Bermuda and Cayman Islands were in the second and third places, respectively, with six points each after recording three wins and three losses. Bahamas ended the campaign in the last position with all six defeats.
