After turning Pro in 1999, Roger Federer reached the semi-final of a tournament in Vienna. After a few more high-profile wins, he reached the top 100 of the ATP rankings and was the youngest in the list. In 2000, Federer represented Switzerland in the Summer Olympics. Although he didn't win any medal at the Games, he surprised many by reaching the semi-finals where he was ultimately beaten by Tommy Haas and Arnaud di Pasquale. Federer would eventually become the world number one tennis player, a title he held for a record 237 weeks from February 2004 to August 2008. Federer has also won ATP finals trophy for a record six times in his career. Federer and Nadal played in every French Open and Wimbledon final from 2006 to 2008.
