India: 17 Test series wins

After losing the home Test series against England in the 2012/13 season, the hosts India have already recorded 17 consecutive home Test series wins starting from February 2013 with the Test series against Australia. For more than a decade, hosts India have maintained their Test series unbeaten record and we are only expecting the stretching of this incredible record.


Australia: 10 Test series wins

Starting from the 1994/95 home season, where Australia lifted the Ashes title, the Baggy Green recorded 10 home Test series victories for the first time in Test cricket history. The Test series winning streak continued till the 2000/01 home season with the home Test series victory against West Indies. It ended with a home Test series draw against New Zealand in November-December 2001.


Australia: 10 Test series wins

After a home Test series draw against India in the 2003/04 season, Australia recorded their second 10-home Test series winning streak from July 2004 with a home Test series win against Sri Lanka. It ran till the home Test series victory against New Zealand in November-December 2008. In their next home Test series against South Africa in the 2008/09 season, the Aussies suffered a series defeat. During that incredible streak, Australia also won a one-off home Test match against the ICC World XI.


West Indies: 8 Test series wins

From March 1976 to April 1986, West Indies set up a world record with eight home Test series unbeaten streak. It started with their home Test series victory against India and ended with a complete five-match Test series whitewash against England. While their next home Test series started in April 1988 against Pakistan, that three-match Test series ended in a draw.   


New Zealand: 8 Test series wins

After suffering a home Test series defeat against South Africa in March 2017, New Zealand started their eighth consecutive home Test series win in December 2017 with a home Test series victory against West Indies. It continued till January 2021 with a home Test series victory against Pakistan. It ended with a home Test series draw against Bangladesh in January 2022.
