The test is the first form of cricket that came into popularity during the early 20th century. After that ODI cricket and T20 were also introduced into this form of sport. But still, Tests remain as the most classic and exciting format of the game. 


Here is the list of the players who got out without scoring runs for the most number of times in Test cricket.

 

1. CA Walsh:

 

West Indies legend CA Walsh has the record of getting out without scoring any runs for the most time in test cricket. Out of the 132 test matches played by Walsh, he was duck for 43 matches. In his test career, Walsh has scored a total of 936 runs with a personal best of 30 not out.

 

2. CS Martin:


New Zealand cricketer CS Martin stands in the second position for being duck for in the most number of matches. He was out without scoring a single run in 36 test matches of the total 71, he has played.

 

3. GD McGrath:


McGrath is one of the best fast bowlers the game has ever played. His amazing performance has helped Australia many matches. But he couldn't give a hint on his batting career. Off the 124 test matches he played, he has scored a total of y41 runs with 61 as his personal best. McGrath was duck for 35 test innings he played.

 

4. SCJ Broad:


England cricket Stuart Broad is the player in the fourth position of this table. He was duck for 35 innings of the 138 test matches he has played in his international career. Broad has a total of 3211 runs in his Test career with 169 as his personal best.


 

5.  SK Warne:

 

Warne is one of the best spinners in the history of cricket. He also tops the list of players who was out for duck in international cricket most times. Warne was duck for 34 innings of the 145 tests he played.

 

6. M Muralitharan:


The highest wicket-taker in the history of cricket, M Muralitharan was a duck of 33 innings of the total 133 test matches he played in his career. Murali has taken a total of 800 wickets that makes him the highest wicket-taker of all time.

 

7. Ishant Sharma:


Indian pacer Ishant Sharma is one of the best test bowlers India has now. Coming to the batting side, he was a duck in 31 test innings he played. Ishant has so far played a total of 97 test matches for India.

 

8. Z Khan:

India’s legendary pacer, Zaheer Khan stands in eight positions of this list. In his career, Zaheer Khan has played a total of 92 test matches and has scored 1231 runs from it. He was also out for zero in 29 innings that he played.
