The 37-year-old English pacer Stuart Broad became the fifth bowler and second pacer to complete 600 Test wickets. During the ongoing Manchester Test of the Ashes 2023, the right-arm fast medium bowler Broad achieved this special milestone.

Before the Manchester Test, which is the fourth game of the Ashes 2023, Stuart Broad was two wickets away from the 600 Test wickets. Playing his 166th Test match, Broad took two Aussie wickets in the first innings as he dismissed the opener Usman Khawaja (3) and Travis Head (48).

It was also Broad’s 149th Test wicket against Australia, which is the most wickets for a bowler against Australia (check below Table 3).
