On the fourth day of the 2023 Port of Spain Test, the visitors India completely outclassed the hosts West Indies, where the Indian cricketers shattered some special records. One of those was breaking the record for the fastest team 100 runs in Test cricket history.

In the rain-curtailed second or final Test match of the series, after securing a 183-run lead at the end of both teams’ first innings, India were busy setting a challenging fourth innings target for the hosts in quick time.

Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and the skipper Rohit Sharma smashed the Caribbean bowlers from the early overs of India’s second innings. In Just 10 overs, India managed to score 90/0, where the Indian captain already completed his fastest Test half-century in only 35 balls.
