South African stand-in Test captain Wiaan Mulder slammed an unbeaten triple century against Zimbabwe in the Bulawayo Test to set a Test cricket record.
It is the second or last Test of the series, as the visitors South Africa are leading this Test series 1-0. In the second Test, the hosts Zimbabwe chose to field first, while South Africa scored 626/5 before declaring their first innings on the second day.

While Mulder had the chance to break the highest Test innings score record: 400 not out by West Indies legend Brian Lara, the stand-in Proteas skipper decided to declare the innings at the start of the second session on the second day of the Test match.
