For the first five days of the test match, there was only one outcome looking possible in the rain affected the game and that’s the first ever WTC test Championship final will be ended up with no result. Dropped catches, poor bowling and absurd batting performances from team India is the result that they have lost the finals. Although New Zealand has played the test match with England in the same conditions so they have idea of pitch much better from team India. But team India have the world class players with quality depth in every department still they performed like average team where captain choices has been proved wrong again at the crucial stages of the match.

It was shocking to see where team India has struggles to score runs on the reserve day of match, the opposition has cross the line with 8 wickets victory in the finals on a easy note.

The turning point of the match has come during the start of reserve day of test match when team India players have gifted their wickets in Silly manner. No Indian batsman have played long runs innings or stayed at the crease to shift the momentum of match.

Earlier New Zealand won the toss and restricted team India at the score of 217 runs in their first innings. While in reply, New Zealand got the lead of 32 runs after getting out at score of 249 runs in their first innings. The prediction was made by Sunil Gavaskar that team India potential to all out New Zealand in the second innings is quite doubtful while in the interaction with India Today.

“Even if there is a little bit of grass on the pitch, it won’t have that much carry that was there in the earlier days. So that means batting has become a lot easier. India will probably not be able to bowl New Zealand out in the 2nd innings. They will have to bowl exceptionally well to get New Zealand out,” he said.

After New Zealand victory, Michael Vaughan has responded in little teasing way to Indian fans,

“This is great for the game.A country with 5 million beating a country with 1.4 Billion,NZ have come close many times before & are consistently high achievers but now worthy champions.Teams with a lot more resources should take note.Well done the Kiwis” Vaughan said
