The dreaded list of the list of retained and released players was released before the WPL Auction which will take place in a few months ahead of the season in 2024. The WPL in its debut season was a super hit as it grabbed the eyeballs of cricket fans around the world. The WPL is also allowing the players to earn life changing money for just a month’s work. It has already become the second most valuable T20I League in the world.

Delhi Capitals


The Delhi Capitals team has retained all its core players and they have kept almost their entire squad from this year. Delhi Capitals reached the final of WPL 2023 and they are a very good team which will get better under the leadership of Meg Lanning. They have also retained Jemimah Rodrigues, Alice Capsey, Jess Jonassen, Shaifali Verma and Marizanne Kapp among others

The Gujarat Giants team has adapted a completely different strategy from all the other teams.
