WrestleMania is the most attended WWE show of all time. There are several WWE shows that have had incredible WrestleMania attendances, but there are some shows that have had fewer fans that have attended WrestleMania. Those were the times when WWE was not that popular and the creative direction was weak. Sometimes the capacity of the stadium is not that high.

WrestleMania 1X – 16,891
WrestleMania 9 is the least attended WrestleMania of all time. And it is no surprise. That show was one of the worst WWE shows of all time. Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna was the main event for the WWE Championship, which was followed by Hulk Hogan winning the WWE Championship in the following actual main event. The Undertaker took on Giant Gonzalez in one of the worst matches of all time. This show was the standard that WWE had to not get down to.
WrestleMania 19 – 54,097
WrestleMania 19 is one of the better WrestleMania shows of the Attitude Era, but WWE was not holding shows in the massive 80,000+ capacity stadiums. WrestleMania 19 was the show that saw Kurt Angle take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship and the end of the legendary trilogy between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. There was Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon in a Street Fight and Triple H vs. Booker T for the World Heavyweight Championship, which Booker T should have won.
WrestleMania 8 – 62,167
WrestleMania 8 is the third least attended WrestleMania of all time with over 62,000 fans. This show was so much better than WrestleMania 9. This was the show where it was a wrestling clinic between Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair for the WWE Championship. Roddy Piper took on Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan faced Sid Justice in the main event. The Undertaker started the streak at WrestleMania 7, but 8 was his first big win against Jake The Snake Roberts. This WrestleMania saw the start of some of the all-time greats in WWE.
WrestleMania 6 – 67,678
WrestleMania 6 was the show that the WWE was building towards in the first stages of WrestleMania. WWE and Vince McMahon had done all the hard work, and the payoff was WrestleMania 6. This was the show that saw Hulk Hogan take on The Ultimate Warrior in the main event for the WWE and Intercontinental Championships. This was the biggest main event till that time. Ted DiBiase took on Jake The Snake Roberts. This was the show that first gave WWE mainstream media attention, as Hulk Hogan had become a pop culture icon.
WrestleMania 17 – 67,925
WrestleMania 17 is among the top 3 WrestleManias of all time without question. There were multiple matches on this show that are in the conversation to be in the all-time great WWE matches. This show had the best Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock match. This event had the legendary TLC Match, where it was The Dudley Boys vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian. This show also had The Undertaker vs. Triple H and a street fight between Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon. Wrestling fans of old have this WrestleMania very close to their hearts.
