This match started slowly as both men were also tag team champions so they were feeling each other out. This match then picked up pace and Shawn Michaels hit his big moves. He hit the elbow drop to the heart of Cena. Shawn also hit a Sweet Chin Music but John Cena kicked out. John Cena also hit The Attitude Adjustment but it was a 2 count. After 29 minutes, It was John Cena that won the match and became WWE Champion.
2) John Cena vs The Rock at WrestleMania 28
Probably the biggest match in the career of John Cena. This match had a one year build as it was announced following the Raw after WrestleMania 27. The build to this match was so good that the fans had anticipation for this match. And both men delivered. John Cena made a big entrance and so did The Rock. This match was 31 minutes long. Both men had a test of strength. The spectacle was fitting for WrestleMania. The Rock showed that he was still in his prime at that time. He matched John Cena move for move. The Rock hit the Rock bottom but John Cena kicked out. John Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment but The Rock kicked out. John Cena went to the top rope. 3) John Cena vs Triple H at WrestleMania 22
This was the third match for John Cena at the grandest stage of them all. This was a match against Triple H that John Cena needed. This was a match where John Cena entered with a very young CM Punk who was not signed to WWE at that time. This was a 22 minute match. Triple H tested John Cena and he was physical in this match. John Cena was starting to get better with each match. Triple H hit the Pedigree in this match but John Cena kicked out. He was Super Cena at this point and the fans were starting to turn on him. John Cena won the match as he made Triple H tap out.
4) John Cena vs Batista at WrestleMania 26
It was 2010. It was the match that the WWE universe wanted. It was the number 1 guy in John Cena against the number 2 in the WWE Batista. Both men had established themselves and this was a big WrestleMania Match. Batista was the heel and he was the champion. This was a short match as it was only 14 minutes. However it was so good that it is in this list. Barista hit the Batista Bomb but John Cena kicked out. John Cena hit his finisher AA but it was not enough. John Cena made The Animal tap out to the STF and he once again became WWE Champion. This match should have got more time.
5) John Cena vs Rusev at WrestleMania 31
This was the WrestleMania Match that saved the United States Championship. This was a match between Rusev who was undefeated to this point. John Cena was determined to win the title at WrestleMania 31. To earn this match he had to apply the STF and Lana awarded him the match out of compassion for Rusev. This was a 15 minute match. Rusev looked incredible and he entered a Russian tank. This match was high paced as John Cena tried to win. Rusev applied the Rusev lock but John Cena got out this time. John Cena hit the AA to win the title. Following this win, the weekly US title open challenges were a thing and wrestlers got a chance to wrestle John Cena in great Matches.
