NXT Stand and Deliver is a concept that has been in WWE since 2021. The first show was held before WrestleMania 37. The 2025 NXT Stand and Deliver edition was finished last week. There have been 5 shows that have featured 35 Matches. The biggest NXT superstars of the last 5-7 years have all had Banger matches at this show.
Let’s look at the Top 5 NXT Stand and Deliver Matches
1) Oba Femi vs Dijak vs Josh Briggs for NXT North American Championship
This is the best match in the history of this event. This triple threat was so good that it elevated all 3 men to become superstars. This was a 15 minute match but in those 15 minutes they tore the House down. Oba Femi showed what he is capable of as he was dominating his fellow huge opponents. Dijak had a star-making performance and Josh Briggs earned fans and respect. The athleticism in this match would make cruiserweights feel a little jealous. Oba Femi won the match and one year later he is the ruler of NXT. Oba Femi has a NXT Championship Match this year against Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans.
2) Johnny Gargano vs Grayson Waller in an Unsanctioned Match
This was one of the last singles matches that Johnny Gargano had on NXT TV. This match was personal to him as he was taken out of WWE by Grayson Waller. This was an Unsanctioned Match. The two men beat the heck out of each other for 18 minutes. Grayson Waller had a star making performance as he took insane bumps including one through a table. Johnny Gargano showed why he is one of the all time greatest in NXT. They used chairs, ladders, and tables to hurt each other. After the match vs Tomasso Ciampa this was the best Unsanctioned Match in NXT. Johnny Gargano won this match but Grayson Waller showed that he is a fantastic professional wrestler.
3) Wes Lee vs Axiom vs Dragon Lee vs Ilja Dragunov vs JD McDonagh for NXT North American Championship
The North American Championship has had a rich legacy at NXT Stand and Deliver. This is the second match in this list that Is for this title. This was a fatal five way match. The five best high flyers and the most physical wrestlers in NXT were in this match. The expectations from the fans were sky high. For almost 20 minutes these 5 men stole the show. The spots that they performed In this match were incredible. Wes Lee showed why he was one of the longest reigning champions. Dragon Lee and Ilja Dragunov gained fans that have stayed with them to the main roster. Axiom has formed a tag team with Nathan Frazer and has been the NXT tag team champions. This was a 5 star classic.
4) Dolph Ziggler vs Bron Breakker for NXT Championship
This match took place at NXT Stand and Deliver 2022. This was the match for the NXT Championship. It was between the very experienced Dolph Ziggler against the young star at that time Bron Breakker. This was a very important match for Bron Breakker. This was a match that was 16 minutes long. The fans were optimistic but the wrestling in this match was excellent. Bron Breakker showed his power and was slamming his opponent all around the ring. Dolph used all his experience and he sold for Bron Breakker. Dolph Ziggler won the match and this was his first and last NXT Championship win. Bron Breakker has become one of the biggest stars and is the Intercontinental Championship heading into WrestleMania 41.
5) Roxanne Perez vs Lyra Valkyria for NXT Women’s Championship
This has been the best Women’s match so far in the history of NXT Stand and Deliver. This happened in 2024. This was the match between champion Lyra Valkyria vs Roxanne Perez. Roxanne Perez was the heel and this was a new character for her. Lyra Valkyria was destined to go to the main roster. This was an amazing pro wrestling match that went on for 16 minutes. These two women went out there and stole the show. So much so that the main event of this show was not able to live up to the hype. Roxanne Perez tried every trick in the book and In the end she was able to make Lyra Valkyria tap out. Roxanne Perez then went on to become the champion for 10 months.
