Carmelo Hayes was a WWE superstar who has been in the news recently for reasons which made the fans curious as to where he might go. He blacked out his Twitter and Instagram profiles and the wrestling fans being curious jumped to conclusions. However all that was put to rest on Raw as Carmelo Hayes returned to WWE and joined the 946 led by Royce Keys.
Let's talk about this new development and the future of WWE
Carmelo Hayes is Back and in the main event scene
Carmelo Hayes was a superstar who was the face of NXT in the early 2020s which was the time when NXT was rebranded as NXT 2.0. He was the NXT Champion for almost a year and he and the likes of Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez made NXT better than before. Carmelo Hayes was the best wrestler in WWE. He was then called up to the main roster and he found success as the United States Champion and he was a great heel. Then he lost and he was out of WWE not because of injury but due to lack of creativity for him. The fans were getting frustrated and then 2 days ago he blacked out his Twitter and Instagram profiles. For the wrestling fans before Raw it meant that he was leaving WWE and they started fantasy booking him in AEW.
Carmelo Hayes would have known all along what the plan was and he would have been laughing looking at the Matches fans were coming up with. On Raw in the main event it was the 946 against The Bloodline minus Roman Reigns. Royce Keys had a trick up his sleeve as he brought a masked man who attacked Solo Sikoa. He then unmasked himself as Carmelo Hayes. The fans inside the arena were shocked and the fans online were shocked as there were no reports of this happening. There was happiness from all quarters as Carmelo Hayes was in the main event scene and in the same storyline as Roman Reigns. 946 has become the number 1 faction in WWE and Triple H has carefully constructed their development.
The future of this storyline is clearly the Wargames Match. Survivor Series Wargames will once again take place in November. WWE has been building this storyline since the last 2 months and it is going full steam ahead. There are still close to 2 months worth of storytelling left. Roman Reigns has also been announced for more Raw shows leading into the event. Before Survivor Series, Roman Reigns will face Sami Zayn in a champion vs champion Match at Crown Jewel. Carmelo Hayes will be a regular fixture on WWE TV going forward and it will benefit everybody. This was a pleasant surprise that Triple H and WWE pulled off.
