This match against Adam Cole happened in 2020 before the Pandemic. This was a 34 minute banger where Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole were at the peak of their careers. However Tommaso Ciampa matched him blow for blow as he chopped Gunther to size and Walter got a taste of his own medicine. This was the time when the NXT Tag Team division was the absolute best in the world. There were DIY, Revival, and American Alpha. This was a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. This match had the perfect heels The Revival who were experts in tag team wrestling. They used every trick in the book to separate DIY. The first fall was won by The Revival. There were so many close calls and Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were being cheered by the Chicago crowd. The finish to this match was perfect. Both members of DIY applied the Gargano escape and Revival held each other’s hand and tapped together. This is considered the Gold standard for tag team wrestling.

The only match on the list where the other wrestler is not wrestling anymore. This was a match between the best in Tommaso Ciampa and Velveteen Dream who was the future. Velveteen Dream dressed as Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Ciampa was all business. Velveteen Dream had his best performance in this match and Tommaso Ciampa ensured that the young man was getting his time to shine. This match had some of the best near falls of all time. Velveteen Dream hit the Purple Rainmaker from the top rope but Ciampa kicked out. Tommaso Ciampa used his smarts and experience to win the match.
