Jey Uso Attacked on SmackDown

It was the start of WWE SmackDown and it got off to the most chaotic start. Jey Uso was taken out of the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match at the start of the Show. It was a barbaric assault which made sure that Jey Uso was out of the Elimination Chamber Match. Jey qualified for the match and he was giving interviews to ESPN which was giving the feeling that all is well. However WWE tricked the fans as they shockingly took out Jey Uso by a mystery attacker.

Let’s talk about this attack and what this means for Jey Uso going forward

YEET No More

Jey Uso qualified for the WWE Elimination Chamber Match in a triple threat match. It was said that he was going to be the 6th man as he was giving interviews to ESPN as to how he will replay his entrance In the middle of the Elimination Chamber Match. He has his fans who would have come tomorrow to see the yeet man do his thing. This means that the WWE has big plans for the Elimination Chamber because it makes little sense to take out the most popular wrestler in the match out of the 6. All answers will be given on 28th February. Triple H has been getting critiqued that he has become too predictable and this was an answer to the naysayers.

This could mean a lot of different things for Main Event Jey Uso. He has been taken out of a match that he was advertised in. That very rarely happens to a former Royal Rumble Winner and World Champion. This could mean the WWE has not been happy with. The work that Jey Uso has been doing recently. It was shown in WWE Unreal season 1 that the creative team was not pleased with Jey Uso getting gassed just by doing his entrance and then having nothing for the match. They saw this repeating for a year and they decided to take him out. Jey is still the tag team champion with Jimmy Uso on Raw. This could be the final nail in the coffin for him as a singles star and The Usos will be a tag team act going forward to WrestleMania 42.

Now getting to who it might be that attacked Jey Uso. There are a lot of options. First it could be Drew Mcintyre as he is a known Jey Uso hater. He has been taking out men who could challenge him at WrestleMania 42 for the WWE Championship. Then it could be Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision, the beneficiary of Jey Uso being out is The Vision and after the injury to Bronson Reed they need to get momentum back. There is a wild card choice as this WWE superstar is a babyface currently. Sami Zayn has been showing frustration a lot recently and he has been snapping at his friends. Jey was in The Bloodline with Sami and for Sami to see Jey Uso winning the Royal Rumble and the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 might have rubbed the wrong way. Sami Zayn needs a heel turn and this might be the way to do it.
