Roman Reigns will complete his eighth main event appearance during the WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 is around the corner, and the main events of WrestleMania 40 are almost set. The list of WWE superstars having the most main events of all time at WrestleMania will include Roman Reigns vs Cody from WrestleMania 40. Every WWE superstar has the dream of the main event in WrestleMania. This is one of the biggest goals for every WWE superstar. Some have the main event in multiple editions.

Let’s look at the list of WWE superstars with the most WrestleMania main events.  

Bret Hart  

Bret Hart, who is one of the best wrestlers ever to step foot in WWE, has appeared in the main event of WrestleMania three times in his career. His last main event was WrestleMania 12 against Shawn Michaels in a 60-minute Iron Man Match. 

Stone Cold Steve Austin  

Stone Cold Steve Austin, one of the most recognisable and biggest WWE superstars ever, has appeared in WrestleMania main events four times in his career. His last main event was during WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens, where he had a fantastic match.

Brock Lesnar  

Brock Lesnar has also appeared in five main events of WrestleMania throughout his career. He had championship matches in all his main events. His last main event was WrestleMania 38 against Roman Reigns.

The Undertaker  

One more truly iconic WWE superstar, who has appeared in the main event of WrestleMania five times, is The Undertaker. The Undertaker has had a 30-year career, and he appeared in the WrestleMania 36 main event, which was his last match against AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match.

Shawn Michaels  

Mr WrestleMania Shawn Michaels has also been in five WrestleMania main events throughout his iconic career. He had his last main event at WrestleMania 26, which was his last singles match.

The Rock  

The Rock is also a five-time WrestleMania main eventer. He has been in the biggest matches in WrestleMania history. He has come back, and he will most probably be wrestling at WrestleMania 40.

John Cena  

The face of WWE for over a decade John Cena has been part of the main event of WrestleMania five times in his career. John Cena has been in championship matches at WrestleMania almost every year. His last main event was at 29.

Triple H  

The current Chief Content Officer in WWE, Triple H, has appeared in the WrestleMania main event seven times in his career. He knows the feeling of doing this, and thus he can appreciate the current WWE superstars wanting to do the same.

Hulk Hogan  

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling. He has appeared in the main event of eight of the first ten WrestleManias. Hulk Hogan was the reason that WrestleMania became such a big event. His match against Andre The Giant was one of the most famous WWE matches of all time.

Roman Reigns  

Roman Reigns will become only the second WWE superstar in history to appear in the main event of WrestleMania eight times in his career. He will make it eight once he main events against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. He has tied the legendary Hulk Hogan.
