WWE has had a rich history of tag team wrestling and since many decades there have been many great tag team champions and a few of these teams have had long and legendary Reigns as tag team champions. A prime example is The New Day who in the past 7 years have gone on to become the greatest tag team in WWE History.
There have been a fair few long tag team title reigns over the years and in these reigns, the tag team has risen in stature and brought more credibility to the titles they are holding. Let’s see who are the Top 10 longest reigns as WWE tag team champions.
1. Gallus (497 Days):
The previous NXT UK tag Team champions Gallus consisting of Mark Coffey and Wolfgang hold the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE History. They were great tag team champions but it was the Covid pandemic which shut operations at NXT UK for over a year which didn’t allow them to compete, still it is the official record in WWE’s books.
2. The New Day (483 Days):
They won the tag team championship at SummerSlam 2015 and were the most dominant of champs, beating all the challengers and establishing themselves as the greatest ever. They held on to those titles for almost a year and a half which Is absolutely staggering.

3. Demolition (478 Days):
During the earlier years in WWE, Demolition which had Ax and Smash as it’s members were the most dominant team in WWE and they was proved when they held the tag team gold for a then record 478 days which during those days was an incredible achievement.
4. The Fabulous Kangaroos (409 Days):
Way back in the day when it was the WWWF, this incredible team won the WWWF United States tag team gold and held on to it for a very impressive 409 days which was a lot at that point of time.
5. The Valiant Brothers (370 Days):
During the sane time as our last record holders, this brotherly tag team won the WWWF World tag team titles and they were dominant champs and kept it for 370 days, which was amazing at that time.

6. The Mongols (368 Days):
They won the WWWF international tag team gold at that time and they also were champions for a long time , a total of 368 days as tag team champions.
7. The Ascension (364 Days):
They were among the best NXT tag team champions in the brand’s history. They brought legitimacy to the belt and were undefeated for over 350 days which is incredible in today’s times.
8. Mr Fuji and Professor Tanaka (337 Days):
This Japanese tag team won the WWWF world tag team gold and were incredibly good champions and all the fans loved them and they were tag team champs for 337 days.
9. Paul London and Brian Kendrick (331 Days):
Paul London and Brian Kendrick were the WWE Raw Tag teak champions for a long period of time when there were a number of great tag teams in the roster and they were incredible wrestlers as well and they beat every opponent they faced During their impressive reign as tag champs
10. Dr Jerry Graham and Luke Graham (321 Days):
This tag team of brothers won the WWWF United States tag team championship and they would keep it for an amazing 321 days and reign over WWF as it’s tag champs.
