For the first time NXT has introduced an event where the titles from various promotions will be defended at one show. It will be a 2 week event shown on TV. Belts from NXT, AAA, TNA and Evolve will be defended at this 2 week special. The best of the best will be competing at this event which will start from 18th November 2025 and carry forward to 25th November.
Let’s look at the Match Card for NXT Gold Rush Week 1
Blake Monroe vs Sol Ruca for NXT Women’s North American Championship
This is one of the biggest Matches that will take place on Week 1 of NXT Gold Rush. Blake Monroe recently won the NXT Women’s North American Championship from Zaria as Sol Ruca was injured. Sol Ruca has not yet fully recovered but she is ready to fight for her title. This match will be special. There was a unique face to face where Blake Monroe was talking to her darker self. Her darker self was telling her to become violent as she has been before. Sol Ruca is one of the best wrestlers in NXT. Zaria will also factor into this match and this can be where she turns heel on Sol Ruca starting their feud. Blake Monroe will be the champion and it is highly unlikely that she will lose here.
Ethan Page and Chelsea Green vs Joe Hendry and Thea Hail for AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship
This is one of the few AAA titles that will be defended at this show. It will be all WWE talent fighting for this title. The amazing pair of Ethan Page and Chelsea Green have clicked like Gold and these two are Champions In WWE. These two are some of the best things in WWE. Joe Hendry and Thea Hail are a new pair that has been formed to take on these two heels for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship. This match will be a lot of fun. Thea Hail will be the X factor in the match. Ethan Page and Chelsea Green will have all the momentum. Ethan Page and Chelsea Green have a chance to hold multiple gold in WWE.
Tatum Paxley vs Jacy Jayne in a Last Chance Match for NXT Women’s Championship
This will most probably be the main event for the first week for NXT Gold Rush. The World Championship for the women will be defended. Tatum Paxley won the NXT Women’s title in a great match. She has been a great champion and Jacy Jayne will have her last chance to win the title. Both women will have backup in this match. Tatum Paxley will have Izzy Dame, Shawn Spears of The Culling. Jacy Jayne will have Fallon Henley and Lainey Reed of Fatal Influence. There will be a turn in this match. Either Izzy Dame will turn heel on Tatum Paxley or Fallon Henley will turn face on Jacy Jayne. Tatum Paxley has a chance to cement herself as the champion and that her win was not a fluke.
DarkState vs Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans for NXT Tag Team Championship
This is the match for the tag team titles. DarkState won the match against The Hardy Boys to win the tag team titles. It was a very good and physical match. The 4 members of DarkState are getting better week by week. However they will face their toughest test when they face the team of Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans . These two young men are the future of the industry. Evans will have a busy week next week as on Raw he will take on Gunther in the last tournament. This match will be a battle of contrasting Styles. The fans will be fully in the favour of Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans. This could be the best match of the night.
