NXT Great American Bash took a bold decision as they went Head to Head with AEW All In. Both shows started at the same time. NXT Great American Bash had 5 Matches and the quality of these Matches was great as is always the case with NXT. This show featured young stars getting their chance to shine and some wrestlers showing why they are among the best in the world.

Je’Von Evans beat Jasper Troy
This match was 14 minutes of good David vs Goliath action in the ring. Jasper Troy was the bigger and stronger man and he was going one on one against the Young OG Evans. This was the first big match for Troy and he showed up and showed out. This was a very good match. At the start of the match it was Troy who was dominating Evans. He was throwing Evans like a ragdoll. Evans made a brilliant comeback as he hit the cutters from the top rope. Troy hit the Chokeslam and the Powerbomb but it was not enough to win. Evans won the match as a shock and it looks like this feud will continue. Both men showed that they have what it takes to succeed.
Sol Ruca beat Izzy Dame for NXT Women’s North American Championship
This was the first out of 9 women’s Matches for WWE this weekend. These two women were young but they were willing to risk it all for the appreciation of the fans. Izzy Dame was having her first big PPV match and she showed out. Sol Ruca is having a generational run. She is showing that she is the future of WWE. Izzy Dame had a great false finish at the start of the match. Sol Ruca helped Izzy Dame and they showed that women’s wrestling will rule this weekend. They had a 12 minutes match. Sol Ruca hit Sol Snatcher to get the win. She will compete at WWE Evolution for the WWE Tag Team Championship with Zaria representing NXT.
Ethan Page beat Ricky Saints in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for NXT North American Championship
This was the best match of the show. These two men were determined to have a match that will be talked about for years. This was going to be the last match of the feud. This was a 15 minute car crash in the best way possible. Ethan Page used a steel chair to target the larynx of Ricky Saints which shows continuity. Ethan Page dropped his opponent on the back of two steel chairs and it looked nasty. Ricky Saints attacked Ethan Page in the back but neither man was getting the pin. To end the match Ethan Page hit the Powerbomb on top of a table to win the match. This match solidifies Ethan Page as the rightful champion and Ricky Saints can go to the main roster.
Oba Femi beat Yoshiki Inamura for NXT Championship
This was without a doubt the toughest test in the title reign of Oba Femi. Yoshiki Inamura was as strong and as athletic as the champion. This match was an absolute barn burner. Both men showed that big men can have an absolute classic if they have chemistry. Yoshiki Inamura was dominating Oba Femi at moments during the match. They were punching each other and hitting Chokeslams. Oba Femi hit the Powerbomb but his opponent kicked out. Josh Briggs was in the corner of Yoshiki Inamura and he was asking the challenger to cheat. However Yoshiki Inamura would not cheat. Oba Femi took advantage of this and won the match. Oba Femi should be tested more often like this.
Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe beat Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley
This was the main event of the show. It was the second women’s match of the show. In one team was the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and her teammate Fallon Henley. Their opponents were Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe. Blake Monroe was having her first match in WWE. This was the longest match on the show at 17 minutes. Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley were dominating the first half of the match as Jordynne Grace was being beaten up. Blake Monroe showed why she was so highly in demand by WWE. She hit Suicide dives, clotheslines etc. Her and Jordynne Grace won the match as there was a rift between Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley. The TNA Women’s Champion Masha Slamovic helped Jacy Jayne lose the match. At WWE Evolution 2 it will be Jacy Jayne vs Jordynne Grace for the NXT Women’s Championship.
