NXT Heatwave was the second show of 24th August 2025. It was held after AEW Forbidden Door 2025. This show was held in Lowell Massachusetts. There were 6 matches at this show. The wrestling in this show was very good and some Matches stood out as compared to the others. The women got the most shine on this PPV.

Lola Vice beat Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker to become number 1 contender for NXT Women’s Championship
This was the first match on the show. The young women in NXT were starting the show. It was the number 1 contender match for the NXT Women’s Title. This was a 12 minute match. All the three women got offended and it was not like one woman had the upper hand. Lola Vice used her strong kicks that she has learnt from MMA. She has improved in the ring by leaps and bounds. Kelani Jordan gave a beautiful MoonSault to Jaida Parker on the outside. Jaida Parker was using her strikes to attack Lola Vice. There was a blockbuster spot where Kelani Jordan delivered a blockbuster on both her opponents. After 12 minutes it was Lola Vice who won the match and she will be the new number 1 contender against Jacy Jayne.
DarkState beat Hank and Tank for NXT Tag Team Championship
The NXT Tag Team Championship was on the line and this was a very important match for all the men involved in this match. Hank and Tank did not know which two members of DarkState they were going to face till the time the match started. The 4 man group used their numbers advantage as they were in control for most of the 11 minutes of this match. They were isolating Hank by tagging each other and sometimes by distracting the referee so that the other members on the outside could attack the champions. Tank got the hot tag and he was absolutely flying as the big man gave a Suicide dive to the outside to DarkState. The numbers game was too much in the end as a distraction allowed DarkState to become the new tag team champions.
Ash by Elegance beat Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovic for TNA Knockouts Championship
The TNA Knockouts Championship was on the line in this triple threat match. Jacy Jayne had Fatal Influence with her, Ash by Elegance had The Elegance Brand at ringside. Masha Slamovic did not have anyone accompanying her to the ring. This was a 12 minute match where all the 3 women got physical. Masha Slamovic took out the entire Fatal Influence with a Suicide dive. Ash by Elegance has improved so much in the ring that it is remarkable to see. Masha Slamovic was the best wrestler in this match and her and Jacy Jayne had the biggest near falls in this match. Tatum Paxley was trying to cheat but she forgot that it was a No DQ Match. The finish of the match was when The Elegance Brand took out Jacy Jayne and Ash by Elegance pinned Masha Slamovic to win the title.
Blake Monroe beat Jordynne Grace
This was the grudge match on the show. Jordynne Grace was out for revenge. Blake Monroe was at her best as she first slapped her opponent and ran away. Jordynne Grace got a hold of her and then showed her power by lifting Blake Monroe for a Power Slam. Blake Monroe was being a perfect heel as she slowed down the pace of the match and was applying submission holds. It was a very physical match where Blake Monroe pulled down Jordynne Grace to the steel steps. Jordynne Grace gave a JackHammer to Blake Monroe but she kicked out. This was 13 minutes and in the end Blake Monroe cheated her way to a win. This was a very good match and Blake Monroe was the right winner.
Ethan Page and Chelsea Green beat Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele
This match was the shortest match on the show but it was a lot of Fun. This was 10 minutes of sports entertainment. Ethan Page and Chelsea Green were representing Canada and their opponents were representing the USA. Chelsea Green was the most liked in this match even though she was a heel. Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele showed their wrestling skills and they were cheered by the fans. Alba Fyre and Piper Niven were ringside and they helped Chelsea Green get the pin on Tyra Mae Steele to win the match.
Oba Femi beat Je’Von Evans for NXT Championship
This was the main event of the night. It was the champion Oba Femi and he took on Je’Von Evans. Evans was the first man that the fans were hoping would beat Oba Femi for the title. This was an 18 minute classic. Both men used their strengths to great effect. Oba Femi was throwing Evans around the ring like a football at the start. Then as the match went on Evans made a comeback by hitting chops which had no effect. Then he delivered Superkicks that knocked the champion down but not out. Evans hit him with a top rope cutter but Oba Femi kicked out. Oba Femi hit the Powerbomb but Evans kicked out. The crowd were All In on this match. During the closing stages, Evans was trying all the stops but it was not enough. Oba Femi threw Evans over the top rope through the announce table. He retained the title and the fans were not happy. This was an absolute Banger. Je’Von Evans will go to the main roster it looks. Oba Femi has a new feud as Ricky Saints came out after the match.
