30th August 2026 will be remembered as a great day for fans of professional wrestling. NXT Heatwave 2026 took place and there were 5 Matches that took place. Each one of them was good and a couple of them were incredible. This show had multiple title changes which was the theme of the day in WWE and AEW.
Let’s look at the Results for NXT Heatwave 2026
Zaria beat Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong for NXT North American Championship and WWE Women’s Speed Championship
The first match on the show was a triple threat match for the unified titles in the women’s division. It was Zaria who was taking on the Speed Champion Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong. This was a 12 minute match where all 3 women got the opportunity to shine. Zaria and Kali Armstrong were initially ignoring Wren Sinclair but Wren Sinclair came back in the match. These three women were hitting each other with Suplexes and Kali Armstrong eventually took control of the match. There was a great spot where Wren Sinclair Superplexed Zaria. To end the match, Zaria hit the F5 on Kali Armstrong to become the unified champion.
The Vanity Project beat Myles Bourne and Tavion Heights for NXT Tag Team Championship
This was the second title change of the night. This tag team match was 14 minutes of non stop action. Myles Bourne was injured on the ribs and The Vanity Project kept attacking his ribs and prevented him from tagging Tavion Heights. Tavion Heights got the hot tag and he started giving Suplexes to both men and he applied the ankle lock. Myles Bourne hit two Powerslams and then followed it up with a Neckbreaker and DDT combo. A momentary lapse in focus and The Vanity Project won the match and became new NXT Tag Team Champions.
Kelani Jordan beat Kendal Grey for NXT Women’s Championship
Women’s wrestling was the winner on 30th August 2026. There were 2 Matches throughout the night at All In and Heatwave that went 23 minutes each. This one between Kendal Grey vs Kelani Jordan was the best match of NXT Heatwave. Kelani Jordan started the match hitting an Asai MoonSault which was not enough. Kelani Jordan started attacking the injured ear of Kendal Grey and it was a test for the champion. Both these women were locked in as Kendal Grey hit Overhead and German Suplexes and Kelani Jordan hit a Northern Lights Suplex. The fans were chanting This is Awesome. Kelani Jordan jumped over Kendal Grey and smashed the announce table. Kendal Grey hit a Reverse Spanish Fly and Kelani Jordan answered it with a twisting springboard cutter. Both women hit 450 Splashes, German Suplexes. Kelani Jordan won the title by hitting her MoonSault finisher. This was professional wrestling at its very best.
Jackson Drake beat Myles Bourne for NXT North American Championship
This was the shortest match of the night and it was understandable. Myles Bourne had already competed in a match. This was a 10 minute match. Myles Bourne fought with all his heart as he brought Jackson Drake down. Jackson Drake countered it with a series of kicks to the rib section. Tavion Heights came out to even the odds but The Vanity Project proved too much. Jackson Drake hit the 450 Splash to win the NXT North American Championship. This was a surprising title change. After the match Myles Bourne turned heel in a shocking outcome.
Grayson Waller beat Zilla Fatu, Cruz Montana and Tony D Angelo for NXT Championship
This was a 21 minute barn burner for the NXT Championship. There were 4 men who were looking to be the top dog in NXT. Zilla Fatu showed his power as he started giving Samoan Drops to all his opponents. Tony D Angelo gave a Spinebuster to Zilla Fatu. Cruz Montana delivered a Suicide Dive to the outside on all 3 of his opponents. Zilla Fatu hit the Samoan Spike on the champion and nearly won but Grayson Waller stopped the referee from counting. Grayson Waller delivered an elbow drop to Zilla Fatu on top of the announce table. Cruz Montana hit Tony D Angelo with his finisher but Grayson Waller appeared and stole the win and became the new NXT Champion. Grayson Waller has earned this title. There were 5 title Changes in one night.
