The first ever NXT vs TNA Showdown was held on 7th October 2025. This was the first promotion vs promotion show between the two companies. There were 4 Matches that took place at this show and all of them were very good Matches and they got time. This was a very newsworthy show and it built to TNA Bound for Glory on 12th October 2025.

The Hardy Boys beat DarkState to become NXT Tag Team Champions
This was a match between one of the greatest tag teams of all time against a team that was not that much experienced. This was a huge opportunity for DarkState and they made the most of it. Before the match could start All 4 members of DarkState tried to attack The Hardy Boys but they sent all 4 to the ring. The Hardy Boys were dominating the early part of this match and Jeff hit a clothesline off the back of Matt. Osiris hit Matt with a Slam but failed to hit a leg drop. Jeff hit a Senton for a near fall. To end the match Matt Hardy hit a Twist of Fate followed by the Swanton Bomb by Jeff and they became double tag team champions. They will now face The Dudley Boys at Bound for Glory for both sets of tag team titles.
Team NXT beat Team TNA in Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match
It was time for the first of 2 Survivor Series style Elimination Matches. The first was for the women and this match was 23 minutes. The IInspiration came out to their iconic WWE theme song. Jordynne Grace was the special guest referee. Jacy Jayne and Kelani Jordan were the women to start. Kelani Jordan hit an early splash but Jacy Jayne kicked out. Lola Vice and Cassie Lee were the next women tagged in and Jessica McKay hit stereo kicks and hit their iconic pose. Jaida Parker and Lola Vice hit a double shoulder tackle. This was followed by all 8 women getting in the ring and the special guest referee allowed all the chaos to ensue. Jaida Parker was the first woman to be eliminated as Mara Sade eliminated her. Lola Vice eliminated both women of The IInspiration. Kelani Jordan eliminated Lola Vice and finally Jacy Jayne eliminated Kelani Jordan to win the match for Team NXT. This was a very good match and a great showing for the TNA women.
Ethan Page beat Mustafa Ali for NXT North American Championship
Far and away the best match of the night was between Ethan Page vs Mustafa Ali for the NXT North American Championship. Both men were motivated and they wanted to steal the show and in 15 minutes they did exactly that. Ethan Page being the heel that he is tried to leave the match early but Ali dragged him back to the ring. WWE acknowledged that Mustafa Ali was released the day he had an NXT North American Championship Match. Mustafa Ali came back in the match when he hit a Sunset flip Powerbomb in the corner of the Ring. Mustafa Ali had his old WWE entrance theme and that was a treat. Ethan Page hit a running boot that looked brutal. Mustafa Ali did a Suicide dive that took him and Ethan Page over the top of the announce table. Ethan Page then threw Ali from the top rope through the ground. Ethan Page won the match and retained his title.
Team TNA beat Team NXT in Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match
The main event of the night was the 4 on 4 Men’s Survivor Series style Elimination Match. This was the best of TNA against the best of NXT. Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater were supposed to start the match but Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian tagged in. Trick Williams hit a Dropkick to Frankie Kazarian. Myles Bourne suffered from the hands of team TNA and special guest referee Joe Hendry allowed the teams to go all out. Myles Bourne hits a German Suplex on Moose and then hits a Death Valley Neckbreaker for a near fall. The NXT Champion Ricky Saints and the face of TNA Mike Santana went at it. Myles Bourne was the first one to be eliminated by Frankie Kazarian. Then Leon Slater eliminated Je’Von Evans and this was a precursor to their match at TNA Bound for Glory. Trick Williams left the side of Team NXT and after that Ricky Saints eliminated Frankie Kazarian and Leon Slater. Mike Santana took out Ricky Saints to win this match.
